Privacy policy.
This policy explains what happens to your personal information when you get in touch with Safa Digital through this website. We keep it simple: we only collect what we need to reply to you, and we never sell it.
Who we are
Safa Digital is the trading name of Safa Digital Ltd, a private limited company registered in England and Wales (company number 16545002). For the purposes of UK data protection law (the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018), we are the data controller for the information described here.

What we collect
When you send an enquiry through our contact form, we collect:
- your name and email address
- your business name and phone number, if you give them
- the services you are interested in and your message
If you email us directly, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to include in your message.
Our hosting provider also processes basic technical information, such as your IP address and browser type, to deliver the website securely and to protect the form from spam.
How we use it and why
We use your details only to reply to your enquiry, discuss your project, send you a quote and, if you become a client, to deliver and invoice the work.
Our lawful bases under UK GDPR are:
- Steps before entering a contract, when you ask us for a quote or information about working together.
- Legitimate interests, in responding to general enquiries and keeping our website secure.
- Legal obligation, for keeping business and tax records if you become a client.
We will not add you to a mailing list or send you marketing unless you clearly ask us to.
Who we share it with
We do not sell or rent your information. We only share it with the services we use to run the business:
- Netlify, Inc., which hosts this website and receives contact form submissions.
- Google (Gmail), which stores our email.
- Cloudflare, Inc., which manages our domain and passes emails sent to hello@safadigital.co.uk on to our inbox.
- Resend, which delivers the emails we send from hello@safadigital.co.uk.
Some of these providers may store data outside the UK, including in the United States. Where that happens, the transfer is protected by an approved safeguard such as the UK Extension to the EU to US Data Privacy Framework or the UK International Data Transfer Addendum.
How long we keep it
If your enquiry does not lead to a project, we delete your details within 12 months. If you become a client, we keep project and billing records for six years after the end of the financial year they relate to, as UK company and tax law requires.
Cookies and analytics
This website does not use cookies for tracking or advertising.
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits in an anonymous, aggregated way. It does not use cookies, does not collect personal data and does not track you across other websites.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to:
- ask for a copy of the information we hold about you
- ask us to correct anything that is wrong
- ask us to delete your information
- object to, or ask us to restrict, how we use it
- ask us to transfer it to you or someone else in a common format
To use any of these rights, email hello@safadigital.co.uk. We will reply within one month. There is normally no charge.
Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, please tell us first so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint or on 0303 123 1113.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
